This occurs when you suffer from inability to say no to requests from friends or family, and then you keep putting off doing that task until you eventually fail to do it.
It is also the procrastination pattern that results in your inability to meet up with deadlines even when you know the consequences of failing at it.
Again, it also manifests when you are reluctant to contribute to a group project because you believe the ideas of others are better than yours, and then you start avoiding meetings with the excuse what you will eventually come up with something.
[Social procrastination is also linked to Hindrance Procrastination where you’re procrastination on purpose just to annoy another person.]
