Procrastination Patterns: Promisory-Note Procrastination.

Here, you have a vision but no reasoned plan. It’s more of a wish than a goal.

Think of New Year Resolution? Exactly! They are so easy to put off because they lack major elements to make them substantial.

So first, make them more detailed and relevant by listing how to accomplish it, why it’s important, when you should get it done, and where it should be done. A promise worth making is worth keeping, so ensure it is valuable.

SIDE NOTE:   – List some New Year Resolutions or other promisory wishes you have made to yourself that you didn’t follow through.

                        – Go through them and recognize the major elements they lacked that encourage a break of the promise.
