Moms! My Potentially Dramatic Motherhood.

Moms! My Potentially Dramatic Motherhood.

Moms! I came across this pix! And I’m like aaawwwwnnn…. so sweet. So I thought to gist my TEB fam.

See the caption, “World’s Best Picture”. Honestly, it’s the best fit. Look at that face huh. Moms really take the pain for their babies. Like the baby even appears brave and fearless kinda.

This is not the kind of situation where you ask mom: “Is it your paining?”

Ah. It is both her injection and her paining too oh. Haba.

I think even the bravest of moms can subconsciously put up that fit. I bet she had no idea her eyes were shut with that expression until it was all gone. You know when your heart makes you do something before your brain even processes it.

So the event that rushed to me was that of my girlfriend whose pretty girl was still tender when we worked together at the hospital.

During immunization days, mothers came in so early, as early as 6:30am, to pick a front queue for their babies. You would hardly see a dad.; the few available would sit in the car waiting to drive mother and child home.

Sometimes I wonder if it’s ’cause deep down, they are scared of watching the baby take the injection too๐Ÿ˜‚. But you know men nah, cover-up kee them๐Ÿ˜‚.

So my girlfriend was done with the process when I walked in on her behind the unit trying to console her crying baby. Lo and behold, she was weeping too. Ah ah. Who will me now console?

Nne why are you crying now? Baby’s not even sick. She was unable to reply me amidst the tears. Apparently, paracetamol wasn’t working for baby… or hadn’t started working yet. She even started wishing she hadn’t taken baby for the immunization shots.

It was later on I teased her about it and she said to me: “You won’t understand”. Wawu!

Moms in the house, help a girl understand biko.

Could you begin to wish your child didn’t take painful meds even though they were for their own good? If so, then shit just got real.

My own ehh… hmmm.

I will just drag baby daddy to the clinic, push baby in his hands and hide my face behind his shoulders the whole time๐Ÿ˜‚.

Hehe.

Or I bring my drama in its full regalia, as the actor that I am. I will just drive straight from the clinic to baby daddy’s office. Baby is wailing, I’m weeping. I will push baby into his arms, grab his handkerchief from his pocket, slump in a chair in the corner and cry hard in fits and sniffs๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.

The whole idea is to get him flustered up jor. I cannot come and be crying alone in a corner and still be consoling baby again. Baby daddy should partake in the consolation process… and probably buy pizza later on๐Ÿ˜Ž.

Lol.

My people, I’m not troublesome abi? Remember I am a Saint on 1st Novembers.

Join me and pray let baby daddy not read this post and know my tactics ahead of time oh lawd.
